President Sadyr Japarov received Vice General Manager of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. Wang Tongjun, the president’s press service reported.
The countries reached understanding on mechanism of implementation of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, President Japarov said.
The project is supposed to be carried out based on Build-Operate-Transfer model via creation of the joint design company by railway companies of three countries.
Wang Tongjun noted readiness for acceleration of development and approval of the feasibility study of the project, as well as signing of the respective agreement.
The state railway corporations are ready to act as leading implementers of the given project. The most experienced team was formed to this end, he said.
