“Now we will never head back from the path of our reforms” – Shavkat Mirziyoev. He added that millions of fellow actively participated in the discussions of the draft constitution, and that there was every reason to say that the real author of the updated Constitution is our people.
“Isn’t all this a sign that every countrymen, regardless of ethnicity, language and religion, clearly feels the great changes taking place in our country, in the example of his livelihood and family?”
Millions of our countrymen took an active and worthy part in the public debates held during the period from the discussion of the draft of our constitution to its adoption.
The most important thing is that we will never turn back from the path of our reforms, we will only head forward based on the new system of “man – society – state”! – said the head of state.
He emphasized that the vote of the people in the referendum, the high confidence expressed by them, imposed a great responsibility on all of us, pushes us to new heights in order to please our country, and gives more energy and inspiration to continue the reforms.
“I bow down to our multi-ethnic, brave and noble nation, who sincerely fulfilled their high civic duty and took an active part in the adoption of our Basic Law with their practical proposals and initiatives, ideas and thoughts,” said the president.
