“It is time to accept Finland and Sweden as full members of NATO,” said NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg at the 68th session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Madrid, APA reports.

“We did great work in Madrid Summit by inviting Finland and Sweden as NATO members. 28 of 30 members of the Alliance have already confirmed membership bid. A trilateral memorandum was signed among Turkiye, Finland, and Sweden and in accordance with the memorandum, these countries implemented their obligations,” stressed NATO Secretary-General.
