On 21 February, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Ashgabat. The sides exchanged views on important areas of cooperation. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” publication. Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Mansur bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted that high-level contacts play a special role in strengthening bilateral relations. These regular meetings and negotiations provide an opportunity to identify current vectors of cooperation with a long-term perspective, to develop joint steps for the practical implementation of the agreements reached. The sides also emphasised cooperation in the field of humanitarian aid. In this context, they emphasised that cooperation in the fields of science, education, culture and sports is an important factor in bringing the two peoples closer and strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between them. At the end of the meeting, the Head of State and the foreign guest expressed their confidence that fruitful interstate relations will continue to develop actively for the common benefit.
