GDP growth makes 4.6% in Kyrgyzstan in Q1

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan provided update on socio-economic development of the country in the first quarter of 2023.

According to preliminary estimation of the National Statistical Committee, the gross domestic product amounted to 183.8 billion soms (around $2.1 billion) in January-March 2023. The growth made 4.6%.

Manufacturing industry grew by 7.5%, agriculture grew by 1.9%, construction grew by 2.4%, and services grew by 4.1%.

Services contributed 50.7% of GDP, manufacturing industry declined by 2.8% to 28.1%.
