ADB’s forecast for economic growth in Central and Western Asia is positive

The Asian Development Bank’s outlook for Central and West Asia remains very positive, Evgeniy Zhukov, Director General of the ADB Regional Department for Central and Western Asia, said during a briefing in Tbilisi.

He emphasized that this year the slowdown is insignificant, and inflation is also expected to decline.

“Although there may be some shocks due to neighboring countries and high food and energy prices, reforms and good policies can overcome the challenges,” he added.
