Chinese leader: Global economy facing threat of recession

The global economy is facing the threat of a recession, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said at the 9th Summit of G-20 leaders held in Bali.

Report informs that, according to him, developing countries were the first to be hit.

Jinping called on world leaders to deepen international cooperation and create conditions for economic recovery.

He said the G20 should help poor countries with food and energy problems.
