Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Liechtenstein

According to Trend, the Principality of Liechtenstein became the 146th country with which Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations.

A joint statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Liechtenstein was signed in New York.

The document was signed by Uzbekistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ulugbek Lapasov and Liechtenstein’s Permanent Representative to the UN Christian Wenawaiser.

The parties expressed readiness to strengthen interaction within the framework of international organisations, including the UN and its specialized agencies.

In January, it was also announced that Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations with Uganda and Uganda became the 145th country in the list of countries with which Uzbekistan maintains diplomatic relations.
