Kyrgyzstan sends humanitarian aid to flood-affected population in Kazakhstan

Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan will deliver 300 tons of humanitarian aid to the population of Kazakhstan affected by floods.

The Food Caravan humanitarian aid was organized by the order of President Sadyr Japarov, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service.

The convoy with humanitarian aid departed for Kazakhstan on April 6 at 04:00.

The Kazakh population will receive sunflower oil, sugar, rice, pasta and confectionery products, as well as mattresses, clothes, and tents of local production.

In late March, large-scale spring floods began in Kazakhstan. According to latest data, more than 19,400 people have been evacuated due to the floods.
