Deputy Interior Minister warns of strict disciplinary measures for violations among police personnel

Deputy Interior Minister Oktiabr Urmambetov held an online meeting to discuss measures to address deficiencies in the activities of the law enforcement agencies.

The meeting was attended by the heads of relevant departments of the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, administrations, and district police departments of Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Talas, and Chui regions, as well as the cities of Bishkek and Osh.

During the session, the chiefs of six departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs delivered reports.

Urmambetov reminded about personal responsibility and strict measures in case of identifying deficiencies in the work of employees, regardless of their position, mentioning incidents in Jalal-Abad region and Sokuluk district.

“I warn that in case of identifying deficiencies and violations among the personnel, strict disciplinary measures will be taken against the leaders. The instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs aimed at ensuring public order must be carried out impeccably,” he said.
