Germany to Support Ukraine’s Energy Sector

Germany announced that it will continue to support Ukraine’s energy sector. Special attention will be paid to the transition to green energy.

This is enshrined in the agreement on security guarantees signed between Berlin and Kiev, the Report reported, citing TASS.

“Security of energy supply is vital for Ukraine’s sustainability. Building on the G7+ support for Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, Germany will continue to provide long-term support to the entire energy sector in this country,” the statement reads.

At the same time, Germany will support Ukraine in improving the sustainability of its critical infrastructure, especially in the areas of energy, water and heat supply.
