Turkish, Russian leaders discuss regional issues over phone

ISTANBUL (AA) – The presidents of Turkey and Russia held a phone call on Friday to discuss bilateral ties and regional issues, according to the Turkish Communications Directorate.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin also evaluated ways to enhance bilateral ties.

They also discussed developments between Azerbaijan and Armenia and regional issues, particularly Syria, Libya and Ukraine.
