Pope Francis says ready to mediate between Russia and Ukraine 

The Vatican is ready to mediate between Russia and Ukraine, offering its territory as a neutral place for peace talks in which other parties, especially the United States and the European Union, can participate, Pope Francis said during a meeting with the French President Emmanuel Macron, Report informs, citing La Stampa.

They met on October 24, but the views of the leader of world Catholics were published on November 8.

The Vatican has repeatedly stressed that the official of the Holy See is ready to make all efforts to establish a dialogue between Moscow and Kyiv.
