Lavrov says he does not expect any progress from the meeting with Blinken

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said he did not expect any progress from a meeting with his US counterpart Antony Blinken in Geneva, Lavrov told journalists before the meeting, APA‘s Moscow correspondent reports.

“We do not expect any progress from the meeting with Blinken, but we expect a response to our proposals on security guarantees,” he said.

Notably, talks are underway between the Russian Foreign Minister and the US Secretary of State in Geneva, Switzerland.
