State authorities will continue efforts to transform the economy and launch programmes to promote a favourable environment for entrepreneurs and investors. The President also set the goal of ensuring access to high-speed internet in every corner of the country.

The meeting also discussed the issue of increasing the number of cities and districts with a population of more than 300 in Uzbekistan. It is planned to increase their number from 13 to 28 over the next seven years. The President emphasised the importance of developing legislation on urban planning and creating master plans for cities in order to prevent uneven growth of settlements.
