Turkish Airlines adds Philippines’ historic Cebu city to global destinations

 Turkish national flag carrier to run 3 weekly flights between Istanbul, Cebu with stop in Manila.

ANKARA (AA) – Turkish Airlines has started flights from Istanbul to Cebu, its second destination in the Philippines, the national flag carrier announced on Tuesday.

Three reciprocal flights will run every week between Istanbul and Cebu with a stop in the Philippines’ capital Manila, according to a Turkish Airlines statement.

Cebu is considered to be the oldest city of Philippines and known as the “Queen City of the South” due to its cultural and economic importance.

Turkish Airlines will now connect Cebu, which is also a thriving tourism hub, to more than 320 destinations in over 120 countries around the globe.
