President’s Envoy for Afghanistan talks to Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the UK Mission to Afghanistan

President’s Envoy for Afghanistan Ismatulla Ergashev held talks with the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the UK Mission to Afghanistan Robert Chatterton Dixon via conference call.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties discussed current situation in Afghanistan, as well as the efforts of Uzbekistan and the UK to provide humanitarian and other types of assistance to Afghanistan.

Robert Chatterton Dixon emphasized Uzbekistan’s important role in the establishment of long-term and stable peace in Afghanistan, implementation of various infrastructure projects in the country.
