During the visit of the Russian delegation to Beijing on February 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will adopt a joint statement on international relations entering a new era, as well as talk face-to-face, Russian leader’s aide Yury Ushakov told reporters on Wednesday, APA reports citing Oopstop.
“A joint statement on international relations entering a new era, on global sustainable development has been prepared in advance for the talks. This joint statement will reflect the common views of Russia and China on the most important world problems, including security issues,” Ushakov said.
“After the talks, a tête-à-tête dinner is planned for the two heads of state. This format of communication will make it possible to discuss the most important international and bilateral problems and issues as frankly and confidentially as possible. In the evening, in accordance with the program, our president will take part in the opening ceremony of the 24th winter Olympic Games,” Ushakov added.
