Consultative meeting between Mongolia and Uzbekistan takes place in Ulaanbaatar

The sixth consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Uzbekistan took place in Ulaanbaatar on May 7. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Amartuvshin Gombosuren and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov.

The parties agreed to strengthen friendly relations between Mongolia and Uzbekistan, determine prospects for cooperation, expand collaboration in the spheres of infrastructure, transport, logistics, agriculture, light industry, tourism, healthcare and information technology. They also exchanged views on the high-level visit planned for 2024 and cooperation in the international and regional arena.

In addition, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry delegation met with the officials of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Ministry of Culture, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Research Center for Landlocked Developing Countries.
