US Secretary of State Blinken to visit Kazakhstan on Feb 28

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Kazakhstan. The first official visit of the Secretary of State to Kazakhstan will take place on February 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.

The Secretary of State will meet with President Kassym-Joomart Tokayev and hold talks with Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi during his stay in Astana.

A ministerial meeting of the heads of foreign affairs departments of Central Asian countries and the United States in the C5 + 1 format will be held with the participation of Blinken in Astana on February 28. The agenda includes issues of further development of regional cooperation and partnership with the United States.
