Turkish MFA comments on protests in Kazakhstan

Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on large-scale protests that occurred in several big cities of Kazakhstan, the document has been announced by the MFA, APA’s Turkey bureau reports.

“We closely follow protests started in Kazakhstan on January 2-3 and resulted with the resign of the government this morning. We attach importance to the stability of friendly country Kazakhstan, peace, tranquility of brotherly Kazakh people. We completely believe that the Kazakh administration will get out of this crisis. We believe in the common sense of Kazakh people, and hope that the events will calm, soon. We wish a speedy recovery to our Kazakh brothers, including security forces,” the statement reads.
