The Prime Ministers of the EAEU countries discussed the progress of the draft agreement on creation of a common gas market at the EAEU Intergovernmental Council meeting in Almaty, the press service of the government of Kazakhstan.

The parties, in a narrow format, i.e. without observer countries, also discussed the regulation of the EAEU alcohol market, and the activities of the EAEU’s regional development institutions.

The event is attended by the Prime Ministers of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Belarus – Roman Golovchenko, Kazakhstan – Alikhan Smailov, of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.

“I am convinced that the decisions will make a significant contribution and give a new impetus to the further integration,” said Alikhan Smailov, addressing the partners in the EAEU.
