Putin and Rahmon discussed Russia-Tajikistan relations

Relations between Russia and Tajikistan continue to develop successfully without any unresolved problems, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Tajik President Mr Emamali Rahmon. Details were provided by the Kremlin press service.

At a meeting with Rahmon in Kazan, Putin noted that the positive development of relations is due, among other things, to personal ties between the heads of state. The Russian President emphasised that problems, if they arise, are successfully resolved after talks. Special attention is paid to the economic aspects of cooperation.

For his part, Emamali Rahmon emphasised that there are practically no unresolved issues in the relations between the two countries, there are only some nuances for which mutually acceptable solutions will be found.
