Kyrgyzstan receives Turkish armed drones

Kyrgyz president inspects Bayraktar TB2 drones purchased from Turkey.


BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan (AA) – Kyrgyzstan has taken delivery of armed drones that the country purchased from Turkey, an official statement said on Saturday.

President Sadyr Japarov inspected Bayraktar TB2 drones purchased for the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, said the statement issued by the Kyrgyz Presidential Press Center.

Japarov was also briefed about the working system of the drones.

The vehicles will be used entirely to ensure the country’s defense security, including the protection of state borders, the statement added.
