Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to China Aktilek Musaev met with Secretary of the Party Committee of the XUAR, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Ma Xingrui as part of his working visit to Xinjiang.
They noted importance of increasing throughput capacity of Irkeshtam and Torugart checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese state border, as well as providing a green corridor for export of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to China, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
They also discussed advancement of practical cooperation between Naryn free economic zone and Kashgar comprehensive bonded zone, cooperation between postal services of two countries for development of transboundary e-commerce, as well as increase of flights en route from Urumqi to Bishkek.
