Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev met with Austrian Federal Minister of Economics and Labor Martin Kocher.
Importance of continuing work within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Austrian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation was emphasized during meeting.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet suggested expansion of cooperation in priority areas, including in the field of green energy, renewable energy sources and business.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Austrian business sector, who discussed issues of establishing direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries.
