Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to be held this year

Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are planned to be held this year, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said during an official meeting with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on January 27.

This event will make a significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

“The overhaul of the Osh State Academic Uzbek Music and Drama Theater named after Babur will be completed soon. We could time its opening to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries,” Japarov noted.

The President also expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side in connection with the construction of two secondary schools in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan.
