Bishkek and Minsk discussed the possibilities of mutual supply of agricultural products

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Erbol Sultanbayev visited the Gomel region of Belarus. During the working visit, a number of meetings were held, the “Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry” telegram channel reported.

Sultanbayev held a meeting with the governor of the Gomel region Ivan Krupko. The sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Gomel regions of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, including the possibility of mutual supplies of agricultural products and machinery.

The ambassador and the head of the region also discussed the possibility of strengthening cooperation between the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan and the Gomel region, which signed a cooperation agreement in 2020. In particular, there was an exchange of views on work in the trade and economic, scientific and technical, humanitarian and cultural spheres.

During his visit, Erbol Sultanbayev also visited industrial enterprises, held talks with their management and proposed the possibility of joint cooperation in expanding the supply of goods and opening production facilities in Kyrgyzstan.
