Alisher Sultanov gets new position

Former Energy Minister Alisher Sultanov became an adviser to the president. According to UzA, he was appointed presidential adviser on oil and gas, chemical and energy issues.

There is no such position in the “Presidential Administration” section on the presidency official website. The only vacant post is Presidential Advisor on Coordinating the Activities of Law Enforcement and Regulatory Agencies.

In early April 2022, by presidential decree, Alisher Sultanov was dismissed from his post as Energy Minister due to a transfer to another job for health reasons.
