Ambassador of France presents credentials to President Japarov

President Sadyr Japarov received newly arrived Ambassador of France Nicolas Faye.

The President received credentials of the French Ambassador and expressed confidence his work on this post will facilitate further development of bilateral relations.

Cooperation with France is one of priority areas for Kyrgyzstan. Political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between two countries is developing actively. Bilateral trade is growing annually, hydropower and tourism projects are in progress, President Japarov said.

The President suggested the joint efforts and implementation of the projects will strengthen economic cooperation between two countries.

The French Ambassador took a note of intensified bilateral cooperation over the last several years and expressed readiness to continue work in this regard.

Nicolas Faye also noted the contacts between the leaders of two countries, which helped advancement of bilateral cooperation.

The French Ambassador also expressed readiness for expansion of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian spheres, tourism and other priority areas.
