Evacuation stampede in Afghan capital leaves car junkyard behind

People who wanted to leave the country had to leave their vehicles at the Hamid Karzai International Airport checkpoint.
Vehicles damaged by those who could not enter the airport with the hope of evacuation turned into scrap.
Vehicles whose windows were broken and interior equipment were looted were severely damaged.
