Poland allocates loan for joint arms production with Kiev

Igor Zhovkva, deputy head of Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, said that the Polish government has allocated loans for joint arms production with Ukraine at a time when relations between Warsaw and Kiev are improving.

According to APA, this was reported by the Ukrainian news and analysis website Finance.ua.

“Poland has allocated a loan for the joint production of weapons. We already have components of Polish weapons fighting in Ukraine, and now we are talking about joint production,” Zhovkva said.

According to Zelensky, relations between the two countries have improved after Warsaw joined the G7 Vilnius Declaration on security guarantees in January and Kiev agreed to coordinate European integration.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Poland and Ukraine had begun preparations to draft a bilateral agreement on “security guarantees”.
