Borrell announces depletion of stocks of EU weapons supplied to Ukraine

Stockpiles of weapons in the European Union (EU), supplied to Ukraine, are depleted, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said.

Report informs via TASS that, according to him, the reason is that the European military-industrial complex (MIC) has not received proper funding for years.

He noted that the total military spending of the EU countries increased by 6% in 2021 and amounted to 214 billion euros.
