ISTANBUL (AA) – At least one person died and 14 others were injured in a gas leak incident in China on Monday.

The incident occurred in a residential community in the Hohhot region of North China’s Inner Mongolia, state-run media reported.

“It was reportedly triggered by a gas leak from a pipeline according to the preliminary investigation. Further investigations are underway,” Chinese daily Global Times reported.

Meanwhile, four missing Chinese geologists were found dead early Monday in southwest China’s Yunnan province.

The geologists had entered the Ailao Mountains on Nov.13 to survey forestry resources.
