Uzbekistan, Korea Republic to set up cluster for production of PV panels, semiconductors and electronic parts

Workshop was held in Tashkent on the progress and the development of future steps in the framework of the South Korean EIPP (Economic Innovation Partnership Program) projects on economic and innovative cooperation in Uzbekistan.

The workshop discussed the progress of EIPP projects, including the creation of an innovative research and production cluster for PV panels, semiconductors and electronic parts. During the discussion, the parties drafted practical steps for further actions, including the joint development of pre-project documents for new projects. At the end, they determined the format of future cooperation and agreed on the Roadmap for bilateral cooperation as part of the implementation of the Program for 2023.
