Sweden allocates new tranche to Ukraine

Sweden has additionally allocated almost $19.2 million to Ukraine, according to the country’s defense ministry, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine

The allocated funds will be directed to the International Fund for Support of Ukraine under the leadership of the United Kingdom and used to strengthen the military potential of Ukraine.

The freedom and independence of the Ukrainian people are a precondition for a safe and secure Europe, said Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

Earlier the Swedish government approved the ninth package of military assistance to Ukraine. It is 1.5 times bigger than the previous one.
