Pentagon also confirms blast
KABUL (AA) – An explosion took place outside the Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport in the Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday.
According to Anadolu Agency correspondent, the sound of the blast was heard in the Kabul Airport area.
No causalities have been confirmed yet.
Also, speaking on the blast, Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby on Twitter said: “We can confirm an explosion outside Kabul airport. Casualties are unclear at this time. We will provide additional details when we can.”
