Stoltenberg: Russia ‘freezes’ the war for a major offensive in the spring

“Wars are always difficult to predict. We were prepared for the Russian invasion of Ukraine,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Global Boardroom event of the Financial Times, APA reports.

“Now what we see is that Russia is trying to freeze the war to allow its troops to recover and then launch a new big offensive next spring,” Stoltenberg added.
