Kazan Summit to gather Russian, Islamic world economy professionals

Int’l gathering, of which Anadolu Agency is global communication partner, set to be held in Kazan, Tatarstan on July 28-30.

ANKARA (AA) – An international economic summit to pursue ways for enhancing ties between Russia and the Islamic world will be held in Kazan, the capital of Russia’s republic of Tatarstan, on July 28-30.

The Kazan Summit 2021 aims to strengthen trade and economic, scientific-technical, social, and cultural ties between Russia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries.

The three-day event, of which Anadolu Agency is the global communication partner, also targets to promote the Islamic financial institutions’ development in Russia.

The 12th edition of Russia-Islamic world: KazanSummit 2021 will gather representatives of international organizations, public authorities, financial institutions, embassies, parliamentarians, investors and businessmen, top managers of Russian and foreign companies.

Commenting on the event, Taliya Minullina, head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, said the summit revises and expands its agenda every year.

“The interaction with the Islamic world is a promising investment direction for the Russian Federation,” Minullina stressed.

Being a business platform for networking and presenting economic opportunities and investment potential of Russia, the summit will be chaired by Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The event, of which keynote is “conscious consumption,” will discuss the subjects of partnership finance, halal industry, youth diplomacy, medicine, sports, creative industries, development of the export, business, and investments.

The exhibition of “Russia Halal Expo” and the Machine Building Cluster Forum will be held on the sidelines of the summit.

In addition, the OIC countries Young Entrepreneurs Forum and the Young Diplomats Forum, the “Sbertalk” event for the improvement of Islamic financial instruments under the sponsorship of Sberbank, and a fashion show called Modest Fashion will be held on the sideline of the gathering.
