NATO chief: Putin is failing in Ukraine

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has said that Vladimir Putin is failing in Ukraine and that Russia is trying to use winter as a weapon, Report informs, citing Sky News.

He said: “The main focus now is on supporting Ukraine, ensuring that President Putin doesn’t win, but that Ukraine prevails as a sovereign nation in Europe.”

NATO’s foreign ministers are meeting in Romania today to drum up additional support for Ukraine as Russia continues to attack its energy infrastructure.

Mr. Stoltenberg added that the bloc’s allies had delivered generators and spare parts to help Kyiv rebuild its damaged energy facilities.
