Japan-UK Consult on disarmament and non-proliferation issues

On 28 July, Japan-UK Consultation on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Issues was held in VTC format.

Mr. HONSEI Kozo, Ambassador, Director-General of Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented the Japanese side, and Ms. Sarah PRICE, Head, Counter Proliferation and Arms Control Centre, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, represented the UK side.

In this consultation, participants exchanged views on wide range of current important issues in the field of disarmament and non-proliferation, including nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, regional issues, outer space and biological and chemical weapons. Both sides concurred to further deepen the coordination in this field.
