SCO chairmanship passes to Uzbekistan

On September 17, Tajikistan’s city of Dushanbe hosted an anniversary meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The fourth meeting of the Afghanistan-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Contact Group was held this afternoon in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, with the participation of eight members of the SCO and Afghanistan.
In accordance with the meeting agenda, the sides discussed the results of SCO member states’ activities for 20 years and the objectives to further develop the cooperation within SCO member states, as well as the important international and regional issues.
