On August 12, 2021, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi.
Kazakhstan is the “biggest” economy of the Central Asian Region which has also “plentiful” of natural resources. It celebrates 30 years of its independence in 2021. During these years it has successfully “transformed” its macro-economy which is now stable and sustainable with bright prospects.

Recent developments in Afghanistan have significant effects on the region. The withdrawal of the US troops created a void in the region. The Taliban significantly increased its influence in this power vacuum. This situation caused the change of balance of power in the region and pushed great powers to reshape their regional policies.
