Turkish, Malaysian police services discuss methods of forensic investigation

Officials meet in Ankara to improve bilateral cooperation.

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s Presidency of Police Academy and the Malaysian Police Service discussed forensic investigation methods in a meeting Wednesday in the Turkish capital of Ankara.

The meeting was intended to increase bilateral cooperation between committees and reciprocal sharing of experiences in all fields, focusing on learning about methods and application in forensic investigation, and making comparisons regarding forensic research methods of the police service in the two countries.

President of the Police Academy Prof. Yilmaz Colak, Deputy Director-General of the Royal Malaysian Police College Dato Tan Chong Jin, and 28 officials from the Malaysian Police Service participated in the meeting.

After bilateral talks, academic member Ahmet Demirden delivered a presentation on methods and applications of forensic investigation.
