Turkey sends medical aid to Vietnam

Aid donation comes part of health cooperation agreement between 2 countries.

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkey on Sunday dispatched a batch of medical aid to Vietnam as part of a health cooperation agreement between Ankara and Hanoi.

The aid donation included 10 ventilators, 10 patient monitors, 20,000 N95 masks, 4,000 overalls, 100,000 PCR test kits, 100,000 units of viral nucleic acid extractor, and organ preservation fluids.

The shipment, which arrived in Vietnam, came after a phone talk between Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in October last year.
