Pakistani Ambassador visits Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs promoted close and multifaceted relations between Thailand – Pakistan in a farewell call by H.E. Mr. Asim Ifkikhar Ahmad, Ambassador of Pakistan to Thailand.

On 21 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistani Ambassador to Thailand, paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, on the occasion of completion of tour of duty.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister commends the Ambassador’s active role in promoting Thailand – Pakistan cooperation in the past 4 years. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the cordial relations and agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various areas, especially cultural, education and defence cooperation.

They also welcomed the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Pakistan in 2021. Both sides will further discuss the plan on commemorative activities to celebrate this occasion in both countries.
