Death toll from Thursday’s explosions claimed by terror group Daesh/ISIS-K reaches 110.

ANKARA (AA) – Iran on Friday condemned the terrorist attack at Afghanistan’s Kabul airport that killed 110 people, including 13 US soldiers.

In a statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh called the attack a “heinous terrorist act targeting defenseless people in Afghanistan.”

He expressed the hope that with the establishment of an inclusive government in Kabul, relevant government bodies and institutions will “discharge their responsibilities with regards to protecting people’s lives and property.”

The attack on Thursday targeted areas just outside the airport, where crowds have been gathering, seeking a way to get in and find flights out of the country.
