Anadolu Agency obtains footage of deadly Daesh/ISIS attack in Afghanistan

At least 47 killed, dozens wounded in bomb attack at Fatimiya mosque in Kandahar on Oct. 15

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AA) – Anadolu Agency obtained footage Monday of a deadly attack on a mosque in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar on Oct. 15 that left at least 47 people dead and dozens wounded.

The Daesh/ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack on the Fatimiya mosque, which was carried out by two suicide bombers, according to a statement circulated by the terror group on social media.

It came a week after another bomb attack at a Shia mosque in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz that killed 46 people. The attack was also claimed by Daesh/ISIS.
