Presidents of Mongolia and Russia hold talks in Ulaanbaatar

The Presidents of Mongolia and Russia held talks in Ulaanbaatar.

The talks in restricted attendance were held in the yurt built inside the State Palace, the Kremlin’s press service reported.

Putin left entries in the Guest Book prior to start of talks.

“I am glad to visit Mongolia once again, my old friends and good neighbors,” the Russian President wrote.

Vladimir Putin invited the Mongolian President to attend the upcoming BRICS Summit in Kazan from October 22-24. The Mongolian President accepted the invitation.

The two leaders discussed development of bilateral relations. Vladimir Putin said the bilateral relations reached a level of growth of trade relations. Khurelsukh thanked the Russian leader for the visit. He reminded that Putin’s visit is paid in the year when two states mark several anniversaries, including the 80th anniversary of victory on the Khalkhin-Gol river and the 50th anniversary of Erdenet city.

After talks in the yurt, the Presidents started talks at the level of delegations.
