President of Mongolia meets with President of Belarus

President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held official talks on June 3.

The sides concurred on the high significance of the state visit by the President of Belarus to Mongolia in developing relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The Presidents noted that the Agreement on Friendly Relations and Cooperation between Mongolia and Belarus to be established during the visit would be a fundamental document for consolidating the legal basis of relations between the two countries and fostering friendly relations.

The parties discussed the opportunities to cooperate in the implementation of the objectives outlined in “Vision – 2050” and “New Revival Policy”, Mongolia’s long and mid-term development policies as well as National Campaigns “One Billion Trees,” “A Healthy Mongolian”, and “Food Supply and Security”. The two heads of state agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, food, agriculture, education, science, and environment.

The two parties expressed confidence that the mutually agreed-upon decisions and works during this state visit would be realized for the prosperity and welfare of the two countries and that Mongolia-Belarus relations and cooperation would be broadened further.
